Residential lawn care
Weekly, every-other-week or one-time lawn care for homes.
Cost & estimates
Two lawns on the same street can be very different jobs. Here’s what actually shapes the cost of lawn care, what’s included on a mowing visit, and how to get an accurate estimate.
The cost of lawn care depends on the size of the grounds and how much you want done. A small, flat front yard that only needs mowing is a very different job from a large lot with slopes, beds and hedges. Rather than publish a one-size price that fits nobody, we learn about your property and give you an estimate for it. Estimates are free and there’s no obligation.
What shapes the cost
The mowable turf area — not the whole lot. Driveways, the house, beds and patios don’t count. A measured square footage makes an estimate much more accurate.
Weekly, every other week, or one-time. Grass cut less often is taller and thicker at each visit, so each visit takes longer.
Hillside and sloped yards — common around Chattanooga’s ridges — take more time and the right equipment. Very steep areas are reviewed in person.
Gates, fences, narrow side yards and backyards the mower can only reach one way all add time. Tell us about gate codes and pets.
Lots of trees, beds, fences and obstacles mean more string trimming and edging around them on every visit.
An overgrown lawn needs a heavier first cut before it can go on a regular schedule, so it’s priced after we see it.
For business properties, scope matters too — service days, access windows, paperwork such as a certificate of insurance, invoicing, and multiple sites. See commercial lawn care.
Included vs. add-on
Add them to a mowing plan or book them on their own.
Fertilization and weed-control treatments are separate from mowing and maintenance. Compare the work included in each quote; our lawn care guide explains the difference and links to Tennessee’s requirements for pesticide services.
Include these in your estimate request and there will be fewer surprises on either side:

Yes — along with regular weekly and every-other-week service, we offer appointment-based cutting. It’s a good fit before an event, after a vacation, or when you’re getting a house ready to sell.
A typical season here starts with a cut in February and another in early March, then weekly mowing from mid-March through October, with cuts spacing out in November as growth slows. Every-other-week schedules and appointment-based cuts are also available — your plan is built around your lawn and your budget.
Yes. We handle grounds upkeep for business properties as well as homes. If your site has particular requirements — service days, access, paperwork or insurance documentation — include them in your request so we can confirm the details before any work begins. See commercial lawn care.
