We measure quality by the yard.

Imagine a great-looking lawn — without the sweaty Saturday.

Chattanooga summers are long and humid, and a good lawn keeps growing whether you have the afternoon free or not.

Quality Lawn Care & Landscaping takes the work out of lawn care. We mow, trim, edge and clean up on a steady schedule, keep hedges and beds in shape, and treat the finishing details — the straight edge along the driveway, the clippings blown off the walk — as a craft rather than a chore.

From regular neighborhood yards to large properties and business grounds, no lawn is too big or too small for our attention. And we know what our local climate, seasons and slopes throw at a lawn.

How it works

Getting started is simple

  1. Tell us about your yard

Use the estimate form or give us a call. You can even measure your lawn on a satellite map first.

  2. We prepare a clear estimate

Cost depends on the size of the grounds and the work involved, so we look at your property and talk through a plan before quoting it.

  3. Enjoy the view

We keep your lawn on schedule through the season. Want something done differently? Tell us, and we’ll fix it.

The details we sweat

Mowing is most of the work. The finish is what you notice.

  • Crisp edges. A vertical edge along drives, walks and beds, and careful string trimming anywhere a mower can’t reach.
  • The right height for your grass. Bermudagrass and zoysiagrass are cut lower than tall fescue, and we avoid taking off more than about a third of the blade in one mow. How grass type changes mowing.
  • Clean hard surfaces. Clippings blown off driveways, walks and patios and cleared out of flower beds.
  • Well-kept equipment. Mowers are maintained and cleaned regularly — sharp, clean equipment means a cleaner cut and less risk to your lawn.
  • A steady schedule. Regular visits keep every cut light, so the lawn never gets shaggy or scalped.

A Chattanooga mowing season

What a typical year looks like

Our climate gives lawns a long growing season. Here’s the rhythm we plan around — your own schedule may differ.

  1. February – early March

    Wake-up cuts

A first cut in February and another as March begins, to tidy winter growth and set an even height.

  2. Mid-March – October

    Regular mowing

Weekly service is a common starting point. We plan around actual growth, aiming to remove no more than a third of the blade at each cut.

  3. Summer

    Set for your grass

Tall fescue struggles in summer heat and is kept on the tall side; bermudagrass and zoysiagrass are at their peak and are cut lower. We match the height to the grass you have.

  4. Fall – November

    Finish strong

Cuts space out as warm-season grass slows and goes dormant. Falling leaves are cleared or mulched so they don’t smother the lawn.

Good questions

Answers before you ask

How much does lawn care cost?

It depends on the size of the grounds and how much you want done. A small, flat front yard that only needs mowing is a very different job from a large lot with slopes, beds and hedges. Instead of guessing with a one-size price, we learn about your property and give you an estimate for it. See what affects the cost of lawn care.

How often will you mow?

A typical season here starts with a cut in February and another in early March, then weekly mowing from mid-March through October, with cuts spacing out in November as growth slows. Every-other-week schedules and appointment-based cuts are also available — your plan is built around your lawn and your budget.

Yes. We handle grounds upkeep for business properties as well as homes. If your site has particular requirements — service days, access, paperwork or insurance documentation — include them in your request so we can confirm the details before any work begins. See commercial lawn care.
